Meet the Mark Budgeting - FAQ

A plan that meets you right where you are.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

What is a Budget Roadmap?

It's a personalized 6-month cash flow plan built around your actual income, bills, and goals, not a generic template. It shows you where your money is going and what's realistic to change.

What's the difference between Base and Premium?

Base ($45) covers your full cash flow roadmap: income, bills, savings, and spending. Premium ($75) includes everything in Base, plus a debt payoff strategy tailored to your specific debts, including balance transfer guidance where it applies.

What's Smart Allocation?

An optional $10 add-on that gives extra guidance on how to direct any extra money in your budget beyond your bills and expenses.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every plan is a one-time purchase. There's no recurring charge.

Do you offer ongoing coaching or check-ins?

Not as an ongoing service right now. Your plan includes a set number of follow-up questions (see below) so you can get clarity on your specific roadmap after delivery. Ongoing coaching may be added as an option down the road.

PRICING & PAYMENT

What if I want an updated plan later (new numbers, paid off a debt, income changed)?

Via Venmo Business or PayPal Business. The intake form link is available in a few different places, so it's possible to come across it and start filling it out before you've paid. That's fine, but payment is always verified before a roadmap is actually generated, so make sure your payment is sent before you submit to prevent any delay in getting your Roadmap.

How do I pay?

That's called a regeneration (regen for short). You'll fill out the full intake form again with your updated numbers, at a discounted rate: $35 for Base, $65 for Premium.

Why is a regen almost the same price as the initial plan price?

Because building it takes the same work. A regeneration isn't a quick edit. It's filling out the intake form again and having your roadmap rebuilt from your updated numbers, start to finish. I offer that lower price as a thank you to recurring clients.

Do you offer any discounts or financial assistance?

Yes. Each month, one free Base spot and one discounted Premium spot (at $45 instead of $75) are available through the scholarship program. Applicants apply by emailing a few sentences about their situation, reviewed personally and awarded on a first-come first-served basis within the month. Only one scholarship per person for life, so it allows more people an opportunity to be awarded.

PRICING & PAYMENT

How does this actually work, step by step?

  1. You pay via Venmo or PayPal Business.

  2. You fill out the intake form with your income, bills, debts (if Premium), and goals.

  3. Your roadmap is built from your real numbers.

  4. Your finished Budget Roadmap PDF is sent to the email address you provided on the form.

How long does it take?

The intake form takes 10-20 minutes depending on your number of bills or debt. Turnaround to get your Roadmap is currently 1-3 business days, though it may vary a bit depending on workload volume, as I am only one person.

What do I need to have ready before I start the form?

Recent pay information, a list of your regular bills (including due dates for anything quarterly or annual), and if you're getting Premium, your debt balances and interest rates.

Where can I find the full prep guide?

It's posted on the Meet the Mark Budgeting website, and it's shared as an image on social media too. If you can't find it either place, just email [email protected] and it'll be sent over directly.

After You Receive Your Roadmap

Can I ask questions after I get my plan?

Work begins the moment you submit your intake form, so once that happens, refunds aren't offered. Instead, if something in your plan is genuinely wrong, like a number that doesn't match what you gave me, I'd love the opportunity to fix it. A refund gets you your money back but leaves you without a plan. A correction gets you a plan that actually works. See the full Terms & Refund Policy for details.

Can I ask questions after I get my plan?

Yes. Base plans include 2 follow-up questions within 30 days of delivery; Premium plans include 4. Just reply to your delivery email.

What if I have more questions than my plan includes?

Extra follow-up questions are available for $10 per set of 2.

Privacy & Trust

Is my financial information kept private?

Yes. Your information is used only to build your personalized roadmap.

Why does my PDF ask for a password when I open it?

Your Budget Roadmap PDF is password protected as an added layer of privacy, since it contains real income, bill, and (for Premium) debt detail. Your delivery email tells you exactly what to enter.

Who's actually building my plan?

I have a background in social work and built Meet the Mark Budgeting around the connection between financial stress and overall well-being, not just the numbers. Every roadmap is built from a consistent process and reviewed by Destiny personally before it's sent.
